FAQ

1. How can I participate in the Shop Green and Earn Programme?

To participate in the rewards program, you need to meet the following conditions:

  1.  Customer with a valid residential account registered with CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (“CLP Power”) as shown on CLP Power’s customer records;
  2. Domeo member and have Domeo membership account linked to the online account registered with CLP Power;
  3. Login Domeo membership account at Domeo Online platform or present the Domeo Membership to the staff through offline platform, and make purchases of designated electrical appliances that have obtained EMSD’s Mandatory Energy Efficiency Labelling Scheme (MEELS) or Voluntary Energy Efficiency Labelling Scheme (VEELS) with Grade 1, 2, or 3 energy label, reaching a specified amount:
    Purchase of a single designated electrical appliance with a net price (after deducting all discounts) is less than HK$2,000 will receive 250 Domeo Points;
    Purchase of a single designated electrical appliance with a net price (after deducting all discounts) is higher than or equal HK$2,000 will receive 500 Domeo Points;
  4. Eligible members will receive the corresponding Domeo Points 5-6 weeks after purchasing the products.

2. Can I participate in the rewards program whenever I make a purchase of electrical appliances?

During the promotional period (from April 24, 2024 to December 31, 2024, including the first and last days), customers must make purchases of specified electrical products through CLP's Domeo online platform (Domeo eShop www.clpDomeo.com), CLP Customer Service Center (Mong Kok/Kwun Tong/Sham Shui Po/Tai Po) and the Domeo Sales and Customer Service Hotline 2678 2626, and reach the specified amount (calculated based on a single item).

3. What types of products are included in Shop Green and Earn Programme?

The designated electrical appliances for the programme include

  1. Air conditioners, refrigerating appliances, washing machines, dehumidifiers, televisions, storage type electric water heaters, and induction cookers that have obtained energy labels of Grade 1 to 3 under the Mandatory Energy Efficiency Labelling Scheme regulated by the Hong Kong Government's Energy Efficiency (Labelling of Products) Ordinance (Cap. 598) (the “Ordinance”);
  2. Household appliances including air conditioners (voluntary scheme), refrigerators (voluntary scheme), washing machines (voluntary scheme), and storage type electric water heaters (voluntary scheme) that have obtained energy labels of Grade 1 to 3 under the Voluntary Energy Efficiency Labelling Scheme implemented by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD). 4. When can the Domeo Points be received? Where will the Domeo Points be displayed?

Eligible members will receive the corresponding Domeo Points 5-6 weeks after purchasing the products.

After logging in, click on the username and select "My Account". Customer can view the relevant Domeo Point information.

5. Is it necessary to submit an application?

Eligible members (Domeo Member with their account linked to the online account registered with CLP Power) only need to log in to the Domeo Account before placing an order or provide the relevant membership account to the staff, purchasing designated products reaching the specified amount, then can automatically participate without any application.

6. Is there a limit on the number to get rewards?

There is no limit to the number of times to get rewards. The more you buy, the more rewards you will earn.

No application is required. Customer is required to login and make purchases of specified products through your DOMEO membership account, reaching the specified amount.

1. Eligibility  

  1. The programme is only open to customers having a valid residential account registered with CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (“CLP Power”) as shown on CLP Power’s customer records.  
  2. (i) To participate in the “Shop Green and Earn", the participant must be a Domeo Member and have their Domeo Membership Account linked to their online account registered with CLP Power, login the membership account before purchase or present the membership account to the staff. 
    (ii) To be eligible for a reward^: -   
    (1) the applicant is required to make a qualifying purchase of designated electrical appliances*, with such purchase meeting the specified amount** (per individual item), during the promotion period (between 6th May 2024 to 31st December 2024 (both dates inclusive)) through CLP’s Domeo eShop  (www.clpdomeo .com ), CLP Customer Service Center (Mong Kok/Kwun Tong/Sham Shui Po/Tai Po) and the Domeo  Sales and Customer Service Hotline 2678 2626. 
    (2) If additional related materials are needed, please fill out the relevant form: MS Form
    *Designated electrical appliances mean:  
    (1) Air conditioners, refrigerating appliances, washing machines, dehumidifiers, televisions, storage type electric water heaters, and induction cookers that have obtained energy labels of Grade 1 to 3 under the Mandatory Energy Efficiency Labelling Scheme regulated by the Hong Kong Government's Energy Efficiency (Labelling of Products) Ordinance (Cap. 598) (the “Ordinance”);

    (i) Purchase of a designated electrical appliance (per individual item) with a net price after deducting all discounts below to HK$2,000 will be rewarded with 250 Domeo Points subject to eligibility requirements stated above; 
    (ii) Purchase of a designated electrical appliance (per individual item) with a net price after deducting all discounts equal or above HK$2,000 will be rewarded with 500 Domeo Points subject to eligibility requirements stated above; 
    (iii) Eligible members will receive the corresponding Domeo Points 5-6 weeks after purchasing the products. 
    (iv) Participants must maintain a valid CLP residential electricity account, Domeo account, and ensure the linkage between Domeo account and CLP online account when receiving the rewards. 
    (v) The rewards can only be redeemed through designated channels, including CLP’s Domeo (including online platform Domeo eShop at www.clpdomeo.com ), CLP Customer Service Centers (Mong Kok/Kwun Tong/Sham Shui Po/Tai Po), and Domeo Sales and Customer Service Hotline 2678 2626.   4. No requests for a change in the participant's details will be accepted once the order is completed. For example, the Domeo Member account.
  5. If any errors or false information is found in the data provided by the member or canceled order, CLP Power and CLPeC reserve the right to:  
    - cancel the non-issued rewards, and/or   
    - revoke any previously issued rewards through the Domeo account.

2. Others  

  1. The participants and their suppliers/retainers shall directly deal with and bear all the consequences regarding the procurement, transportation, installation, after sales services and product quality of any electrical appliances involved in this application. CLP Power and CLPeC shall not be liable for all the consequences associated with the procurement, transportation, installation, after sales services, product quality and all other aspects in connection with the appliances.
  2. Product sales and related matters are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective sales platform.
  3. The participants agree and accept that CLP Power and CLPeC reserve all the right to rectify the terms and conditions of this Programme at any time without prior notice. In case of any dispute arising from this Programme, the decision of CLP Power and CLPeC shall be final and binding.  
  4. Late purchases or failure to provide complete required information will not be accepted.
  5. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
  6. In the event of discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.
